This is in fact the Cambridge and Oxford Society of the Isle of Man and its records largely consist of newscuttings about its social events, menus of its dinners and the correspondence associated with members' attendance. It is a interesting source of information on the university affiliations of both Manx born and incoming members. It gives the academic degrees of all the members,usually Oxbridge, with a preponderance of Cambridge, and is. therefore a useful introduction to the developing network of connections linking the emergent intelligentsia of the Island at the turn of the century.
