The parish church was consecrated 18th October 1853. Dedicated to St. Runy.
The living is in the gift of the Crown.

Total . 1150 14 7 The chalice has engraved on it, " Ecclesiae St. Puny Mannensis Sacrum, 1705."
A paten of silver, inscribed, " Ecclesi~T St. Runii Mannen-sis Sacrum, 1759. The gift of the Rev. John Christian, vicar."
Baptismal registry commenced 25th April 1622.
By an Act of Tynwald, promulgated on the 26th February 1847, the new parish church was ordered to be built on the land presented by Philip Killey of Douglas, brewer; being part of the estate of Balla-Willey-Killey, or Balla-Yemman-beg, with the churchyard to the same.-Gell's Statutes, pp. 113-117.
