[How happy is the pilgrim's lot.]

1 O S'MAYNREY eh ta troailt gys niau !
Kiarailyn seihltagh seyr t'eh voue,
Veih aggle as imnea : -
Gyn geill da shen ta'n seihll fordrail,
Cha naillish er yn ooir cumrail,
Ayns shoh she troailtagh eh.

2 T'aym ayrn jeh'n vaynrys t'echey shen,
Sauit veih yn dooghys ta neu-ghlen,
Graih'n seihll, va ayns my chree
Agh nish cur maynrys seihltagh voym,
My annym seyr veih'n errey hrome,
As shirrey grayse veih Jee.

3 Un thrie hallooin cha vel my chair,
Ny eiraght syns y choan dy yeir ;
Agh boght ta goaill jurnaa
Ta seughey nish veih boayl dy boayl,
Ny gennal taaghey noon as noal,
Gys yioym my eiraght brâ.

4 Nhee ayns y theihll cha vel mee gra
Dy ve lhiam pene, agh joarree da,
Treigeil y yiootyn share ;
Cur ooilley'n vaynrys t'ayn ergooyl,
As shirrey cheer t'ass shilley sooill,
Yn cheer ta heose 'syn aer.

5 Ayns shen ta thie my chour ec Jee,
Ayn ta my verchys as my chree,
My ynnyd vaghee brâ;
Son aym, ta nooghyn bannit fieau,
As ainleyn cuirrey mee ; dy bieau
