John Henry Preston/Charles Preston

In 1833 and 1851 Charles Preston was a trustee of the Bridge Road ,Methodist Chapel,Balasalla.
In 1864 there was a John Preston born 1849(Standard 5) at school in Ballasalla.
John Preston was the Headmaster at a Methodist School ,Glebe,Ballaugh.His wife was Eleanor M. Corlett.
Their son was George Corlett Preston who had a daughter called Mina.
Another John Preston was also involved with the Methodist Church at Peel around 1861.
In 1851 Census, Charles Preston 24 and Eleanor Preston 25 were in Douglas.
Can somebody throw some light on the above people?
I'm also looking for a contact person from the Manx Methodist Historical Society.
