My husband was the grandson of Alfie Corran who had a twin brother called Robert (Bobby) Corran they were born in 1900 and were fishermen and lifeboat men and laterly had the rowing boats. Interestingly my maiden name was Cain so I am interested to find out if Catherine was any relation to me!! I have asked a cousing of my husband who may have further information re the Corran side.
