Re: irish ancestors
In Response To: Re: irish ancestors ()

Looking through my original notes I noticed I hadn't got an entry for Charlotte Fitzpatrick 1871 census (nothing listed)she is there 1861 & 1881
I checked Brians site and got piece 5771 Folio 241 Schedule 379
But because I wasn't as clued up 18 months ago none of that meant anything to me and didn't follow it up
I have checked Ancestry tonight and the page is missing!!
Brian has picked it up and I am confident she was there as the previous page was for Lake Lane and that is where she was in 1881
Where is that page?

Ages ago I queried an entry with you for Mary Fitzpatrick (the questionable one )
In 1871 she was listed Douglas Street age 36 but could be 42 with a daughter Marietta ? Quilliam At the time I was questioning who the father might be as I couldn't find any record of her birth on IGI

Low and behold at Schedule 378 is a whole family of Quilliams with men of an age
Coincidence?
I am beginning to realise that my Fitzpatricks did not belong to the upper echelons of Manx Society!

Ever curious Lesley
