SInce I made that post I have found out quite a bit more information about John Crowe.

His full name was John Thomas Crowe and he was born in 1841. He married Mary Judge on 5 Mar 1872 at St Simmions Chruch Liverpool.

His parents were John Crowe (Mason) and Elinor Quayle. This Elinor died at some stage before 1869 and he married again to Elinor Kelly.

Johns only surviving siblings were from his step mother and he had sisters Eleanor, Charlotte, Frances and Catherine.

John Thomas Crowe and Mary Judge had five children William, Rebecca, John, Mary and Ellen. My link is through William.
