hi frances and sue, thankyou for your reply, it is likely that the bad record keeping is why i cannot find most i am looking for in braddan, but most of the films i have seen are great for information with wittness names etc also with both parents names on baptisms (not all, but a lot) anyway there are 2 films i have not seen so will order them and when in the isle of man i will go to the museum

if anyone out there has anything on the mcneil, mckneale, etc from lonan ,santon, douglas or ramsey,would you be willing to share info to see if anything connects ?
