We know that the family changed to Methodism and that Francis Edwards may have had a connection with the then Regional Aboriginal Protector Mr. Edward Parker.
whether this influenced James Francis to name his son Christian Parker after Edward Parker is unclear.

I will now try and find if James Francis is on any shipping registers.

We will spend a few days in Isle of Man, when we come to U.K. in the summer.
