'Old Inns and Coffee Houses' IoMASoc Vol6 No1 contains the following note:-
'The Rest and be Thankful, half way up the long ascent of Slieu Lewaigue, has been for almost the past fifty years a private residence, and coaches no longer stop there.......'
Can anyone tell me the date at which the RABT became a private residence or the date of publication of this note. My aunt, Ruby Gwendoline, was born there in 1904, at which time , the building had a flat roof, where, it is said, the children used to play.
