Thanks for your reply. Have been asking questions of my mother (nee Gelling.)
She says her mother (my grandmother)'s maiden name was Radcliffe. Seemingly
there's hundreds of them!

I'll do a bit more research and let you know. Do you actually live on the
island? Where?
