I'm looking at your tree that you titled BWOALLIE LOSHT in your last post and I'm glad to see that you corrected Margaret Hutchen's husband to reflect John Looney b. 1738.

In looking at his ancestry I have a question. How do you pin down which William Looney married Jony Quillease? Most all of John and Margery Woods children show up in the Maughold Parish Birth records, except a son named William. The only William that I see listed who seems to fit is William Lowny who was christened 28 Oct 1660 in Maughold Parish, son of Robert Lowny.

The earliest Maughold Parish Birth/Christening records (1647 to 1655) do show four Looney men, Phill, Will, Tho and Robt Lowny. Phill and Robt are the only two who seem to have sons born to them.
