no wife mentioed in 1680 m/c thus presume dead between 1650(at earliest - prob 1660 at earlist as Cath likely to marry close to age 21) + 1680 - the original transcribers of the episcopal wills in producing the index normally included any 'als' name thus if a search is required I'd look first at Archideaconal wills of that period working backwards from 1680'sh
