Len, a big thank you for this information. I was able to obtain the death register for Samuel Ridgeway Leece. It confirmed he was the son of Robert and Edith Leece. He died on April 17, 1906 in Freedom, Wisconsin, from ptomaine poisoning. The gravestone has the incorrect date.
Also, your mention of Evan Leece led me to find Robert's older son Thomas Evan. He was living with Evan Leece and family. I traced him through the 1910 to 1940 census. He married and had a family. Most of the Leece burials at Oak Hill Cemetery are his family.
