Just returned from IOM & was given some photos one of which has confused me again. It is of a woman & a small child - on the back it says Nellie Kinvig 1923. My grandmother had 2 brothers Herbert who died in WW1 & John (he's sorted) Herbert did marry an Eleanor Kelly but in 1911 there were no children listed. The little girl in the photo looks around 3 - 6 years old. I would love to find out if Herbert did have a daughter. I have an Eleanor Kinvig as a passenger off to NY after the war, no child yet found. Gran also had the adopted brother John (Jack) Clugstone who seems to have taken the name Kinvig. Maybe it was this John's child if he also married a Nellie/Eleanor. This photo has really got me interested again in Nellie Kinvig so any help would be great.
