I have just read all the messages left for me re Jane Mylchreest. I am overwhelmed by the responses and the confirmation i have at last of my Great grandmother's identity. I am so excited and won,t sleep for a week! THANK YOU all so much. I did know some of the info about Peter Bent(h)alI but had not had the expertise to research the army records properly.
I will write again as soon as I have taken it all in. I can't wait to come back to IoM asap.
