Re: Quakers
In Response To: Re: Quakers ()

Dear Board helpers,
I, in my post asked Ms. Coakley, which may off the Isle, which I do not know for sure, so I am asking for others if they could give me data. The Quaker church on 2 Christian St. PEEL, HAS NOT NOT RESPONDED to my request on records of QUAKERS who were MANX and converted. Perhaps there are no such records. but with the list of MANX and others who were NOT MANX, surely, there is some record of the MANX CONVERTED TO THE QUAKERS religion, and their descendants, for they MARRIED MANX. I am aksing for any family, (MANX) who can find data of the MANX CONVERTED OVER TO THE QUAKER RELIGION, and their descendants if they have them in their line and I am trying to find if the BURIAL GRAVEYARD IS STILL AT BARRULE, and can it be found, is it kept up where you can visit it? I would like to know if the grave of JONEY CORLETTE, nee COWLE is buried there and her sister MARGARET CORKILL nee COWLE. WILLIAM CALLOW a converted MANX MAN IS SUPPOSE TO BE BURIED THERE. I would really like a response if there are those who have MANX QUAKER, DESCENDANTS IN THEIR LINE, ESPECIALLY CORLETTE AND ABOUT THE GRAVEYARD.

Kindly yours,

Mrs. Rosa
