It looks as if you need to read the wills and administrations, they should clarify the relationships, it is a bit hit and miss to speculate on the basis of what you have.

The law was fairly clear that disputes over the ownership of land were supposed to be tried at the Common Law and the claims will appear in Latin in the Liber Plactirorum (Lib. Plit) for Lord's Land. However Ballaragh was an Abbey Farm, so any litigation might be in Liber Monasteriorum. (Lib. Mon.) There are some gaps in the films of Lib. Mon, so if you could find that out before ordering the film...
Occasionally there were juries to ffnd out the next of kin, and this sort of thing later on was gathered into the Enquest File, but i think the volumes start after your period, and the stuff might be in Lib. Mon. if anywhere.

To my mind the entry in Lib. Vast. is quite full, and there may not be anything else.
