If you don't use a genealogy program I would strongly urge you to get one before you do much more genealogy.
If you use a genealogy program then you can send and receive info easily with other genealogists.

Only some of the information we're talking about is online. A great deal is available on microfilm via the Family History Library or British sources. The IOM Family History Society publishes a number of references that provide a lot of info; also a great quarterly journal.

It would help me to know what info you do have so I don't reinvent the wheel.
