Many of the books which Frances has got on her web site (and bonus items especially maps and prints on the disks) are now rare and valuable. To build up the library would cost an arm and a leg. The manuscript items are unpublished and never been available outside of a microfilm booth...Mrs Rosa a volume to contain all this would be truly enormous and we need the new technology just to find what is there...

It would be wonderful if MNH would be as generous as Frances C. and put the library catalogue on line, or allow access to the new newspaper index...
