no idea - I have no record of the name Corliss except one late appearance in Woods atlas = mention by Rex Kissack in Lezayre names (+ that might have been a mistake in transcription) - give me date + ref where you found it - I suspect it may be a mistranscription of Corris (or early variant Corrish(e) which I have in early 17th wills in Ballaugh + Lezayre)
