I've traced my paternal line to Harry Stephenson, born about 1872 in Kirk Maughold, Isle of Man. According to census, and birth certificates I have of my dad, and my paternal grandfather, Ernest Leonard, whose parents were Harry Stephenson and Esther, formerly Jones. I do not have Harry's birth certificate yet, but according to census, his parents appear to be John Stephenson, and Jane. I do know through speaking with my paternal grandmother, that John and Jane were teachers at the local Parochial school in Jurby, IOM. My Grandma told me they were Headmaster and Headmistress at the school. I would love to get more information, on every level.

I'm looking for any information about Harry Stephenson and his family. His parents, why his sister Emily was born in Wales, why in later census in England he listed a niece, Emily, same name as his sister, living with him. And how to get more information past John and Jane Stephenson, as there were two couples of that name during that time on the isle.

Are there any headstones on the graves of the Stephenson's on the Isle of Man? Might anyone be kind enough to send me photos?
