Gillon / Radcliffe

hoping that somebody can help me i have searched and can find very little this is what i have, my grandmother Olive Turner ( was ball ) born in 1926 Ramsey, when she died we discovered her birth name was Gillon, so far we have no idea why she was a Ball when she married my grandfather.
Olive had a brother Ingram Radcliffe Gillon 1919, and 2 sisters Constance 1919 and Eva 1915. I have been in contact with Eva's son Derek Gillon 1945, He has informed that their mother was a Jessie Gillon, i have found a marraige in 1926 for Jessie Gillon.
Derek was brought up by his uncle Albert Victor Gillon 1900, and recalls an uncle Henry Gillon.
I have found a recrod of Jessie Gillon in the 1901 census listed as 10 years old living with her grandmother Ann Radcliffe and her son Angus in Maughold
So in 1891 census Ann Radcliffe is living with her husband James 1836 and son Angus, then in 1871 they are in Lezayre and also have a 10 year old daughter Sophia 1861.
My granmother told me Sophia was her mums or grans name
How can i find out if Sophia Radcliffe was Jessie Gillons mother as all records i have searched have come back with nothing, any advice would be great
