Michael Cross was the son of Silvester Cross, John Leece's cousin. Their land,Brackabroom adjoined John Leece's land, Ballahowan.
Extract from Thomas Quaile's will 28th Dec; 1657, "To his eldest son Arthur ye land which they bought being Intake at St John's Chapell at a rent of 4s & 8p out of the whole."
This is why I assumed that Arthur had sold half of the land
