What I was shown to do was to drag the cursor over the line to be copied until it's covered in blue (I'm assuming everyone's computer does blue) then press ctrl and C at the same time. Then if you put the cursor in the address bar - where all the www. thing is and then press ctrl and V at the same time what you highlighted in blue should appear. Hey presto!
