if he is the son of Wm + Ann Curphey then Ann is probably d/o Edward Curphy + Ann Bridson (Edward is a tailor in 1841 at Grenaby which is a small hamlet up in hills 6km north of Castletown - dau Ann is a servant in 1851
Wm gives birth parish as Santan (St Anne) in 1861 age 26 (sharing dwelling of Thomas Quayle + wife Jane in Malew Road Arbory (which is I think just south of Ballabeg) - the Santan bapt matches s/o of Richard Corrin (rendered as Currin in 1841c) + Ann Gick - Richd an ag lab at Ballavale - however I can't find this couple in 1851 tho I think they are in 1861
