I was typing a response to and asking Frances questions as you were posting information answering part of my query before you could have read it.
Thanks very much for that info. That explains a bit more - it would be interesting to know what did happen to Katherine's brother Thomas.
I am still trying to find where exactly my Shimmins started from. I'm a generation further back on the Quine side now thanks to Frances and Bill so I live in hope.
