it's the flood plain of the Neb - stretches along both sides of Neb (northside in German, south in Patk) from just outside Peel round past Ballamoar and onto St Johns - still very damp on german side along much of length - Claddagh is a general term for such land (famous one is that near Sulby Lezayre)
