Thanks Averil/Sue. I found scribbled notes on a family tree which included Edward Quayle & Mary Anne Looney. It suggested Edward's parents were John Quayle & Elizabeth Kneale. I had seen earlier inquiries on the Looney families and was hoping someone was exploring this connection and could confirm or expand on it. Edward was my grandfather's brother. The notes also indicate the son married Maria Jane Kelly and they had four children: Kathline 1916; Robert 1917; Kneale 1919; and Henry 1922. If so, Kathline (Kathleen) married my uncle George Frederick Quayle, butcher of Ramsey. Edward & Mary Jane's daughter, Catherine Anne married William John Moore 17 March 1919 in Maughold. Can't read the names of the children.
