Dear Ms.Coakley,
I posted earlier on the Museum and Ms. Wendy Thirkettle, I have upmost respect for you and you works, I have just read the about THE MODDEY DOO, DOG BLACK, about a large black shaggy dog that use to haunt the Peel Castle, I have also went to the MANX language, and Hall Caine, so much wonderful writings, you cannot stop reading, it is most wonderful to have such stories and folklore, and letters of Manx peoples, it will take quiet some time to go through and read the C D, there is a wealth of history, The people of the Isle (Manx Descendants and non- Manx descendants) should have this C D, wonderful, magnificent works, it gives so much data of the life of the MANX PEOPLE, so much data on the PARISHES, just on and on and on, it is a piece of work that surely should be in the hands of all who do genealogy of the their heritage on the Isle and not only for that, for history buffs, who love to know of other worlds, so saddened of the MANX language, although now being taught, I am going to get the book on the language, I feel like it would help me understand my heritage much better. Your C D , you have outdone yourself, the Isle is most fortunate to have such a scholar to do all the works you have done. I daresay, and award of some type of great distinction should come your way, for long and tedious works, I work legal and you have transcribed incredible works, I know the time it takes, you have burned the midnight oil for sure for many years to have the accomplishment of the MANX NOTEBOOK, HONOR, surely I give to you.

Kindly yours,

Mrs. Rosa
