Some points on your posting , 1851 census shows William Ryan is Joseph Kennah's brother in law , so Sarah's maiden name may be Ryan . John Kennah( or one of the 10 ways of spelling) appears to die Braddan March 16, 1837 aged 63 , so most likely birth is ch 29/12/1773 as John Kewney to William Kewney and Margaret Casement . Margaret Fayle Kennah Craine is shown on 1841 census as 50 , 1851 as 60 and on 1861 as 76 , so since the first two census ages were "rounded" for everyone , the age on the 1861 census is most likely correct , therefore birth year around 1785 (earlier estimated 1788) ,
I think the information that Margaret was Joseph's M-I-L is wrong , there are many errors on the census reports - usually due to people being illiterate and not knowing what was written by the enumerators.
