I have just received two birth certs for two of John Corkill's and Sarah Jane Powells children , not much help Im affraid , just lists Johns birthplace as Isle of Man so Im not sure where to check now . Going by the dates on the Certs John was born in 1837 and I have him Bapt 12 Oct 1838 , I need to get my head around all these dates , will get back to you
