You have raised some very interesting questions. In this last entry, the William Sayle 21 would probably be my great grandfather. He must have stayed with his relatives when he first came to U.S. from IOM. He married Ella in 1873 in Cleveland.
I'm not sure the Canada connection other than I have William Kaneen passing away in 1876 at age 21. He may have ventured to Canada.
Robert's granddaughter and I are keeping in touch. He settled in Pierce County WI which is where he is buried. I have that tree if anyone is interested in that information.
