Hi Greg, I'm not sure what sort of search you mean when you write that "there is no way to search back on the Live Forum longer than 2 weeks. This needs to be extended back to the beginning of the Live Forum (at least)".

The beginning of Jan 2010 is on p.29 (bottom right-hand side of screen).
On the pages after that are messages which apparently were missed when Archives 1 and 2 were created, which means that they are a lucky dip. They can be replied to because they are still on the "Live Forum" (current list). I won't be telling Admin about this, and hope others won't either, because it means that someone searching for an ancestor can still respond to these older messages.

"Search" covers all messages on the current list as well as the two Archives, so far as I have found.
