Re: Thomas Quayle
In Response To: Re: Thomas Quayle ()

Carol, on Feb11,2oo8 a Brian Repko wrote a message looking for his great -great grandfather from the Ise of Man. I have a great great grandfather named Thomas Quayle (Spelled Quail on his marriage certificate). Somehow I have this feeling we may be connected. My grandfather was born I832 Isle of mann, but lived inPatoka, Marion,Illinois where his children were born. Perhaps Loiusa was a first marriage or this was a aunt and uncle to the Thomas Quayle i am Looking for ( Wife rebbecca Clemmons on Marriage Certificate on August 19,1852 in Patoka,Marion, Illinois) he was listed as blacksmith . The flags were raised in simularites between both quayle but spelled on his marriage certificate as Quail. Another simularities is two names is Katie and Hattie and possibly Ella ( could Ella be knick name for Sue Ellen. I have a picture of a Thomas Quail with a Hattie and Sue Ellen and a younger Thomas Quail (quayle).
Children ofThomas quayle are Thomas Quail(
Possibly Thomas Harrison Quail (Quayle)1860,
James Quail (Quayle)1862, Katherine (Kit / Katie)
Quail (Quayle) 1868,Arthur Newton Quail (Quayle) 1872, Charles Franklin Quail(Quayle) 1874, Josephine Quail (Quayle)(JO)1894. Idid find Rebbecca Clemmons filing a Civil War Pension. Have Brain look for this side of the Quails (Quayles) in Arizonia .Try 1900 's In around Winslow Az. Maybe Brian and I are on a different path of finding our relatives and just maybe we are connected.
