Sorry, I don't know the occupations for either of them. I'm hoping John Gelling will be one of the many John Gelling's who left wills in the 1820-40 range, just before the census. His wife Isabella did make the censuses and left a will 1856. As noted earlier, daughter Isabella married Philip Shimmin in 1827. I'm hoping JG's occupation will appear in his will, which I'd love to see sometime.
