I was thinking that Caroline Jane Lucy Christian was the daughter of one of Jane Sayle Christian's brothers of which she had 5 - according to The Peerage - Thomas Phillip - we know had one child; one was unmarried John William cr May 1826 Ramsey; Robert, buried at sea; Howard, born in France m. Marie Lebaille (with 2 sons: George & Matthew), and Matthew/Matthias - no birth, death or marriage info. So, I figure that Caroline Jane Lucy Christian may have been the daughter of one of the brothers, except for John William, and perhaps Robert, which leaves Howard, or Matthew, and that's where I stand as far of info for this family unit.
