Re: Death Certificate for Elizabeth Kissack 1859

Their Lonan marriage 1851 5 Sept has William Kissack, full age, servant man in this parish, father Thomas Kissack labourer, and Elizabeth Skillicorn, minor [under age 21] servant girl in this parish, father John Skillicorn mariner.

- Which fits nicely with your 1851 census entries, Donna.

The IGI extracted record for the 1831 Lonan marriage has John Skillicorn & Isabella Cowley. The "Edwd" given on the IGI for Elizabeth's bapt was a clerical error unless the par reg has John son of Edwd as her father.

John Skillicorn, “of Balleg, 62" b.1796 bur. Aug 15, 1858, marr.1831, wf Isabella Cowley, will of Ballabeg, Lonan; wf Isabella house & garden. Ch John, James, Elizabeth, Ann, Isabella exec. John Skillicorn son of Edward/Esther [CORKILL]. Isabella Skillicorn als Cowley wife of John Skillicorn, Ballabeg, bur. Mar 16 1859, age 55.
[Notes from Lois Ralph.]

Possible bapt for William Kissack (b.Braddan in 1851 census): 28 Oct.1827 Braddan, son of Thos KISSACK & Jane BRIDSON.
