The Clegg line seems to be of good stable stock with Nick's gtgt grandparents found in Leeds in 1871 as Simeon & Mary Clegg, with Simeon being a butcher.....

So some of the work has been done if anyone is willing to pick it up from here....interesting to see if there is a Manx connection....
