John Kinnish M: Emily Stowell (nee Corlett) 21 Jan 1888 Parish Church Lonan (have marriage certificate) she already had a son Edmund Stowell and then she and John had 3 boys Robert Joseph 24 Dec 1895 John Joshua 17 Feb 1897 & Ernest Thomas 4 Nov 1898. As a family they moved to Blackpool and spelling changed to Kennish. From there Robert and Ernest emigrated to Australia 1849 & 1826 respectively. I have census records from 1891, 1901 & 1911 supporting this as well as death certificates, immigration, electorals rolls etc. My main problem is confirming which John Kinnish is mine. Emily Corlett's parents were I believe John Corlett and Isabella Margaret Cannell. At the time of John & Emily's wedding there residences were recorded as Baldhoon for John and Ballaglass for Emily both farming families. Joshua Corlett and Emily Hudgeon were witnesses.
