I have just discovered this site and am researching my wife Annes manx family.Henry Gawne is also her 3x grandfather,through her grandmother Catherine Anne Keig (m George Watterson).Catherines father and mother were John Keig, and Jane Gawne (Henry and Janes daughter) we do have Catherines birth cert which states "mother Jane Keig late Gale formerly Gawne". On the 1891 census it shows them resident on The Calf along with Janes son Sam from her marriage to Samuel Gale.Any information about Jane or John Keig would be much appreciated.
