I tapped "John Fehrenback b 1822 Germany" into Ancestry trees and amazingly, there is a tree which contains the following information:

1846
11 Oct
Age: 24

Marriage to Catherine McGoan
Dungannon, Ireland
******************************************
********************************************
Spouse & Children

Catherine McGoan
1828 – 1871

Mary Ann Fehrenback

1850 –

Henry Gall Fehrenback

Margaret Lucy Faggan Fehrenback

It seems that Catherine's surname of McGoan is another version of McKeown. This is her death:
1871
2 Dec
Age: 43

Death
Branderburgh, Moray

Another interesting thing is that John and Catherine gave their son, Henry b 1858, a middle name of Gall, and in turn, this Henry gave the same name to his son. This might be why Mary Ann nee Fernbank and Edward Gawne named one of their daughters Margaret A Gale Gawne.

Have you noticed that Mary Ann was a 3 year old in the 1851 census, so she claimed to be younger than she actually was at her marriage in 1872.
