1. John bapt. 29 Aug.1743, mason, married Ellinor QUAYLE 5 Dec.1772, Michael.
In mother’s will 1774; in father’s will 1786. [Ellinor 1743-1820, daur of John QUAYLE & Ellinor KILLIP of Michael. Archd will 1793 No.62, Michael, of John Quayle & Ellinor Quayle als Killip, made 1790: son in law John Radcliffe of Andreas; son in law Patrick Brew; grandson John Radcliffe mason; son Wm Quayle; dau. Ann Quayle.]
John Radcliffe buried Andreas 8 June 1811 [will].
Elinor Radcliffe als Quayle buried Andreas 15 Dec.1820.

2. Thomas bapt.10 Feb.1746/7, married [1]1774 Ann KINREAD [daur of Ewan Kinread & Elizabeth Cottier who married 1747 Lezayre]. In mother’s will 1774.

After Ann died 1784, Thomas married [2] 6 July 1785 Isabel TEARE who was buried Andreas 14 Feb.1811. Will No.60 of Isabel Radcliffe alias Teare Andreas written 20 Jan.1808. To Elizabeth Cleater als Radcliffe., the rest to Jane Gawne als Radcliffe.
Children named in Ann & Thomas's wills were Elizabeth (marr. Wm Cleater), Jane (exec.1806, marr. Mark Gawne), William, Thomas, and John. Thomas left "his share of the Lease which he holds from Thomas Lace" to son John, and daughter Jane, his exec. [wills]

3. William , triplet, bapt 16 May 1751, in mother’s will 1774, married Christian COTTIER 20 Aug.1790 Bride. Their children: John RADCLIFFE bapt 12 June 1791 Bride; Elizth RADCLIFFE bapt 1 March 1795 Bride; William RADCLIFFE bapt 13 May 1798 Bride; Thos. RADCLIFF bapt 23 Nov.1800 Ramsey. 1851 census, College Street, Andreas.

4. James, triplet, bapt 16 May 1751, died before 2nd James born 1757? [Not in mother’s 1774 will.]

5. Alice, triplet, bapt 16 May 1751, buried 1 July 1751 "Daughter of Jon".

6. Philip bapt.27 Oct.1753, d.1815, of Ohio, married Esther CHRISTIAN. In mother’s will 1774.
Esther bapt. 5 Feb 1759 (dau of Gilbert Christian & Mary Corkill married 18 July 1747); Esther Radcliffe als CHRISTIAN buried 13 Oct 1826. [106400 Will of Gilbert Christian of Andreas: son Wm C., daur Joney Garrett, wife alive, daur Esther wife of Philip Radcliffe, 3 sons: John, Gilbt & Thos Christian execs.18 May 1787.]
“The third surviving son of the first John, Philip (1753-1815), by his marriage to Esther Christian (1755-1826) had one surviving son James, who married Elizabeth Wattleworth, and was the first of the Ohio branch to live in Ohio Cottage. The house was so named because people receiving letters from their relations in the United States, especially from Cleveland, Ohio, brought them to this house to be read.” [Constance Radcliffe]

7. James bapt “son of John Radcliffe (Vear) April 21” 1757; in mother’s will 1774; married Esther FAYLE 16 June 1778 Andreas. Esther bur.1 May 1819 Andreas. James Radcliffe buried Andreas 31 May 1808 [will].

8. Charles bapt. 22 Feb.1760, married Joney CROGHAN 4 July 1789. [Joney Croghan b. Nov 1759?] Charles buried Andreas 23 Oct 1837 aged 77 years. In mother’s will 1774; in father’s will 1786.

“Another descent of the 'Sundher' Radcliffes were those closely connected with the Wesleyan Ministry. John Radcliffe, mason, born 1744 (sic), was the son of John Radcliffe-y Voar and grandson of Thomas-y Voar. He lived for a time in the old house of Mullen Beg and married in 1772 Eleanor, another daughter of John Quayle, and also purchased land in Ballachurry near the Cronk Breck. According to his great grandson, John Cleator, he built the present farm of Ballachurry about 1799. He had seven children who were all born at the Mullen Beg and he and his wife were amongst the first members of the Wesleyan Methodist Society in the Isle of Man and for many years he was a classleader. He died in 1811, and his wife, Eleanor, aged 77, in 1820.” [RCS]
