Re: John SKILLICORN & Jane KILLEY, Lonan

Hi Wendy,

I'm afraid I have him only with a question mark, because John didn't name all his children in his will: www.iomfhs.im/lawsons/twill/1799_030.html

I followed the line down through the eldest son John.

Children of John SKILLICORN & Jane KILLEY:
John eldest son & heir. John Skillicorn son of John bapt 6 Nov.1785 [of age 1799]. Supervisor of the children under age. Buried aged 82 6 Aug.1868.
Inherited Chlock Coar, a parcel of Quarterland: part of Gretch Vane.

Margaret “elder” daughter [in grandmother's will]. Margaret bapt 10 June 1784 d/o John Skillicorn.

Younger daughter [alive 1789]. ?Joney b.1787.

Other unnamed children: "each of his children" [will], some under age so born between 1786-99.
Later daurs? Ellinor b.1797, Jane b.1790?
Other possible son[s]: ?James b.1786 ?Philip b.1789 ?William b.1792 ?Thomas b.1794.

Going only by their forenames and ages, the most likely unnamed children to be in this family would be Philip son of John S. bapt 15 Feb. 1789 Lonan and Jane daur of John S. bapt 29 Aug.1790 Lonan. But we would need supporting evidence to include them.

Do you know who Philip b.1789 married? Children?

Sue
