Thank you for your reply, my father Raymond (James) died in Brighton also, during 1999, Marie is the remaining sister. One story from my father is that his grandmother ? originated from Kerry in Ireland, 3 sisters I believe came over and married brothers. I think their names were Casey.I think my father's brother and sisters were Kathleen,Violet,Louis,Hugh,Marie, William,Bernard, Ann & Gladys, and as Francesca has stated all died quite young.
My couisn Jason has sent me some stuff that points to a Murtagh McCrainer from Ireland who married a Ellen Connell and had a sons John McCraney 9th September 1849 (IOM)and William 1851 (Ireland) you can see how the name has changed. Which is correct I don't know.
