thank you so much for checking the records for me.
i found both john and edwin wade in the 1851 census but have been unable to find any trace of them any where at all after this date.
my husbands gt grandfather was also named john edwin wade and was born 1852/4. his father was also named john edwin wade and on the marriage certificate is a butcher from Ramsey.
this john wade bn. 1852/4 appears in liverpool in 1879 but he was born in Ramsey i.o.man.
