I live on the Isle of Man and am descended from the Callister family. My research only goes back as far as my g great grandfather Richard Edward Callister who was a tailor, born in Isle of Man about 1811. We believe he married Elizabeth Corlett in 1834. They had the following children
Henry Robert b 1835
John Charles b 1838
Elizabeth Jane b 1840
Richard Edward b 1843
Charles Corlett b 1845
George William b 1847 (my great Grandfather)
The family seemed to move between IOM and Liverpool, England.
