Hi Rod

my Grandmother was a Callister and spelt her surname with an "A" but pronounced it Collister most confusing and my father's couson Dorathy Cowan Nee Kneale (her mother was Harriet Callister my grandmothers sister) who is still alive recalls how they used to say Collister rather than Callister but cannot explain why.
