My name is Alan Charles Crennell. I live in Liverpool, England. All of the Crennells in the North West of England are of one family, decended from my great grandparents who emigrated from (our blessed home) the Isle of Man at the beginning of this century. It would be nice to hear from you as you must be a distant relative of mine.
My father (John Alfred) died in 1976 and he instilled in me the fact that I was English but Manx at the same time. Although I have never been to the Isle of Man (even though it is only a short boat trip away) I feel that, that place is my real home.
All the Crennells in the world must be from one family and one of my brothers, Philip is collating a family tree to pass down to the next generation.
It would be nice to hear from you and possibly you could add more to our lineage.
