REPORT OF THE MEDICAL AID AND POOR RELIEF COMMISSION

As the report is very long I have split it into several sections and the appendices. The report, without the lengthy appendices, was published in a 110 page small booklet format and this has been used as the basis of the text here (a few typos corrected + a few long paragraphs split) The Appendices and the lengthy transcripts of evidence are from the full report [M.M. D151 12x] - the evidence was also printed in the local press but not all the pages are easily readable on the digitised copies.
